In celebration of Indie Bookstore Day on April 25th, Connecticut bookstores have come together for another year of its special passport challenge with over $6,500 in prizes!
Visit as many bookstores as you can between Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th. At each stop, get your passport booklet stamped! (You can download a printable version right here or pick up a physical novelty passport booklet at your first stop!)
At your last stop of the weekend, ask for a completion form from the bookseller to provide your information and mark where you visited to be entered in the prize drawings.
A random drawing will be conducted in early June to select the winners. No purchase required to participate.
Visit all participating stores by Labor Day and enter to win the Slow & Steady Prize of a gift card bundle with $25 to each of the participating shops! A $725 value!
Each stop on the CT Book Trail will have a limited amount of FREE novelty passports. However, if you prefer to print your passport, download either the 1-page version or complete passport below! 2026 Passports will be available on April 25th.
One lucky individual who visits all 23 bookstores between April 25th and April 26th will win a Grand Prize gift card bundle, including a $50 gift card to EACH of the 29 bookstores – an $1,450 value!
Four lucky individuals who visit 15 or more bookstores between April 25th and April 26th will win a 1st Prize gift card bundle, including a $25 gift card to EACH of the 29 bookstores – a $725 value!
12 lucky individuals who visit 10 or more bookstores between April 25th and April 26th will win a Bookish Puzzle from Galison, and a Bookish Pin from Dissent Pins a $40 value
50 lucky participants who visit 5 or more bookstores between April 25th and April 26th will receive a letterpress greeting card from local CT artisans, Friendly Fire Paper, and a bookish sticker!
